On July 11, the Agricultural Leaders of Michigan hosted an Ag Breakfast in Washington D.C. Representatives from every ALM member organization were present and had an opportunity to talk one-on-one with members of Congress, Congressional staff and individuals from Michigan who are working on Capitol Hill in various positions connected to agriculture.
U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow, the ranking member on the U.S. Senate Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee took questions on trade and the farm bill. ALM members also received a briefing from key committee staff.
