Michigan agriculture has an important story to tell. Michigan’s second-largest industry, agriculture employs more than 1 million people in Michigan – that’s one in four workers.  It generates more than $91 billion a year for Michigan’s economy. Michigan is a national and global leader in a range of products and crops.

In addition to creating jobs and growing the economy, Michigan agriculture is also ready to help provide solutions to challenges Michigan faces, from economic to environmental.

Agricultural Leaders of Michigan is a coalition of agricultural, commodity and agri-business leaders committed to promoting Michigan agriculture, participating in the ongoing dialog about issues affecting our state, and harnessing agriculture’s power and potential to further grow Michigan’s economy.
